Plum Study

I bit into this plum and pretty much rushed for the camera. Can you believe this color??? I don’t know what kind of plum it is, but I’ll be getting more. Today. For me.

Nichi–Thanks–but pluot doesn't ring a bell–they posted the name, I just cannot remember it…I've had pluots with less color in the flesh (more like the apricot the plum is crossed with…)

Celia–right? it was the wild color..I took one bite and then shot about 43 different angles so I could get something that really reflected the actual color. My daughter thinks…okay, knows I am crazy..

Nichi–I meant to get back to you…I made it back to the grocery store–this was called a "plucot" one of something like SEVEN different plum-apricot/pluots they were featurin–and I think they called each one something slightly different…so you were quite right…just not a pluot (plucot!) I'd seen before.

And you were also quite right here: very very tasty.
